In a Mutual Awakening Practice, created by Patricia Albere for the Evolutionary Collective, two people face each other, looking deeply and placing their awareness into the mind and spirit of the other, while also feeling into themselves and the space between themselves and the other. One asks the other "what are you experiencing?" and the second expresses verbally what they are touching, sensing, feeling into in that immediate moment. After several minutes, they switch. There's a third round with "what are we experiencing?", in which both people lean into the space between them, sense and articulate what is there. Sometimes there are images or physical sensations, emotional feelings, sounds or colors. The experience is one of seeing and being seen and, even more, of something coming alive in the intersubjective space, between us.
